To use the spread sheet to estimate
      acceleration and Max speed.

Having entered all the necessary data in the input area (eg
    Power/Torque/Cd.A Gear Ratios etc...)

use the Estimations... cells to select values of
Power and Torque to use in the rest of the
    calculations.

Enter a figure for Peak Power at Power to use in
    Calculations

Enter a figure for Torque to use in Calculations in the
    relevant cell.

Look in the cell Max Speed estimation for an idea of
the max speed of the bike

The sheet output areas for Acceleration, Time spent in each
gear and Distance travelled in each gear

are where you get the feel for the 0-60 (or any other speed)
times and the standing 1/4 times.

To estimate this performance you can vary the speeds attained
in each gear until you get some useful info

     - e.g a gear exit speed of 60mph or a cumulative distance of
400m (1/4 mile) at the exit of a particular gear.

It's all a bit hit and miss but you can find some
useful info - and I've got it to agree fairly closely with
    published figures for some bikes.

There are some example sheets for a few bikes (Trophy/CX etc) showing typical
		 performance to be expected.
